A few weeks ago a friend of mine Dan joined us at the Felice 'A-table'. He brought with him a
few cucumbers and decided to indulge us in a recipe. He went back to Bodega at Felice and purchased
a few items.
Here are the ingredients:
- Two skinned and sliced cucumbers
- One small diced onion
- Salt and pepper
- Vinegar (I suggest white wine vinegar but it is his recipe)
- One pint of sour cream
It is the easiest thing in the world.
- Skin and slice two cucumbers and onion in a bowl and cover with salt pepper and vinegar overnight.
- In the morning pour all about a quarter of a cup of the vinegar liquid off.
- With the remaining quarter cup of vinegar, add to one pint of sour cream, stir
till blended and add to the cucumbers and onions, add salt and pepper to taste, Viola.
