Teddy Bear HOAX!!!!
OK, you did it. You followed a friend's suggestion and deleted that vile Teddy Bear virus (program) completely off your system. As you have probably found out, it was harmless and is a component of your Windows operating system and needs to be reinstalled. First things first. The next time you get such a virus message, follow the directions on this page to research the email: http://jpdurbin.net/84online/WhatToDo.htm. If there is a legitimate virus out there your anti-virus program will probably catch it if you update the AV files. If you do not use an antivirus program, please disconnect yourself from the Net.
Now the fix:
There are many versions of the Windows OS but they all use the same version of the JDBMGR.EXE program. You can reinstall it a few ways:
1. Download this ZIP file: (http://www.jpdurbin.net/84online/jdbgmgr.zip). Once saved, open it with WinZip (http://www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm) or some other program and extract it into your C:\Windows\System32\ subdirectory. (Easiest Method)
2. or: Install the latest Microsoft VM.
3. If you have XP and have not installed the latest service pack, install the latest service pack and it will upgrade/install MS VM and the deleted file. It can be found at www.windowsupdate.com.
